Review: Wendy’s BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich

So while the gang was trying the new Pulled Pork Poutines, I had the assignment of trying Wendy’s new BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. The description from wendys.ca says: “Hickory-smoked pulled pork, topped with crunchy slaw and your choice of three BBQ sauces – smoky, spicy or sweet. All served on a toasted brioche bun. Get your BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich at Wendy’s® for a limited time.”

When I ordered I was not asked what sort of sauce I would like and as you can see from the photos my sandwich, for some reason, did not come with any crunchy slaw, so either they ran out or there was an error in the kitchen! It is unfortunate because I can not give this a true review without the sandwich being made correctly, but I will give you my thoughts anyways.

Looking back on the photos it really shows how disappointed I was with this sandwich; there was barely any pulled pork, no coleslaw, and they gave me a little smokey sauce by default. I found the sandwich, kinda dry, not much pork and not a lot of flavor. Very disappointed for sure since I do love my pulled pork but won’t be ordering this again. I give it a modest 2/10
