Review: Ruffles Flame Grilled Cheeseburger (Harvey’s)

I saw these at the store and was very excited. There has been some cheeseburger flavor chips before but I have never seen anything like what Ruffles gave to us. Not only are they cheeseburger flavor, they are Harvey’s Flame Grilled Cheeseburger!!

As you can see from the image, they look like a Ruffles Loaded Baked Potato Chip. Generic light orange brown. They certainly don’t taste like that. Yes, when I bite into them it tasted like a Harvey’s cheeseburger, but unfortunately I think it belongs as a burger and not as a chip.  I’m not a fan of pickle, and the heavy pickle flavor was a turn off. The bag never even got half eaten before it was thrown out. I give it a poor 2/10

I didn’t mind these as much as Mark did. I like pickles, so found the flavour good and very similar to most cheeseburger chips. They didnt break any new ground here, but I crushed the big bag I had within 2 days, which is a decent sign. I also agree they were a little light on flavour though. Coulda used a little more cheeseburger powder on them.

I agree totally – great chip, lousy flavour unless you’re a big fan of pickles. All four people in my family tried them and said “aww gross, pickles!”

I just tried Ruffles’ Cheeseburger chips. Sadly I had to throw them out. I love Ruffles. I enjoy a little R&R ( Ruffles and Rye/coke every Friday. I did not taste any remnants of a cheeseburger.
