Review: Dairy Queen Royal OREO® Blizzard® Treat

Dairy Queen  has came out with 3 new blizzards. I was able to try 2/3 so far. First was Dairy Royal OREO® Blizzard® Treat which is made with OREO® cookies blended with creamy vanilla soft serve then filled with what DQ calls a “perfectly paired fudge center”.

Here is the best look we could get of the middle fudge:

Its hard to ever see the fudge as well as DQ’s fancy promo shots with the photoshopped cut out, but its in there, thats for sure!  It is almost like a sundae but with the topping on the inside and the ice cream kicked up to blizzard level goodness.

This treat was tasty but rich! The extra fudge in the middle was definitely noticeable and made it even sweeter and richer.  Overall, I really enjoyed this, but it was almost over the top with the fudge inside.  Depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have, you may want to stick with a small.  Solid 7/10.
