Review: Tim Horton’s Farmer’s Breakfast Wrap

I was extra hungry dropping my girlfriend off to work the other day so I decided to try the new Farmer’s Breakfast Wrap at Tim Horton’s.

This was Tim Horton’s response to McDonald’s Sausage & Hash brown McWrap. There is a difference though as the new Tim Horton’s Farmer’s Breakfast Wrap comes with egg omelette, sausage, cheddar cheese, a hash brown, with the addition of “spicy mayo sauce”.  Not sure why Tim’s needs to put the word sauce after mayo, but we will just let that one slide.

Here is a look at the Farmer’s Wrap:

I found there was a lot of tortilla wrap inside on my wrap, not sure if this is always the case, but I would have liked a little more toppings and less wrap. I personally liked this more than the McDonald’s version. The “spicy mayo sauce” added some nice zesty flavour.  The hash brown is nice in the wrap as it adds a little crunch.  Overall really solid new offering by Tim’s, even if it them just playing catch up with McDonald’s.

I give this a solid 8.5/10

The mention of the mayo now makes sense on why I felt double the heart burn that ive felt since they changed the seasoning for their hash brown’s causing me to stop buying them

I was very displeased when I purchased a farmer’s wrap little did I know they put a sauce on it. Not happy had to scrap the hashbrown off in order to remove the cause. I thought it was the wrong thing to have on eggs and bacon. Who puts mayo on that. Not me.
