Review: McDonald’s Kale & Feta More-Ning McWrap

Kale McWrap 1
Kale McWrap 3
Kale McWrap 2

So I was in a rush the other morning and had to grab breakfast on the go. I didn’t feel like anything too heavy so thought, what better time to try the new kale wrap at McDo. Well, I don’t even know how to review this other than with a big ol’ YUK! It really wasn’t good. I could only get 3 bites in before throwing in the towel.  The feta was the only flavour the wrap had. It was missing a sauce or something juicier to compensate for the handful of kale you got with each bite.  Anyway, I actually thought they had to have forgotten my sauce so I looked it up, and no, they didn’t. Apparently their tomato is supposed to be juicy enough. I disagree.

I will give this a 1/10

Did anybody actually taste this thing? It has salty cold hunks of feta on eggs. They add bitter kale, a cold tomato, and wrap it in a dry whole grain tortilla. I could barely gag half of it down.

If Mc Donalds Canada wants a heathy breakfast, they should try the Egg white delight. 250 calories vs 400 for this nasty wrap, and it actually tastes good.

You need to get the Cesar asiago dressing with it and put it on it. Omg it taste so bloody good. By far the best wrap. But don’t forget the dressing.

That’s because you need to get the Cesar asiago dressing with it and omg it’s heaven this is the best wrap they have by far. And I don’t feel disgusting after eating it either.

I liked it… Simple taste. Then again, I’m a big fan of feta.

Although I did ask them to toss in a salsa packet.

I thought it was very good. I didn’t have high expectations as it comes out of Mcdonalds, but I was surprised. It’s a nice alternative to the usual greasy, salty foods they sale.

In hindsight, a little salsa may have

I agree… this is bland!! Not to mention hard to eat while driving (it fell apart on me when I was 70% finished and I ended up with chunks of feta on my pants)
