Review: Wendy’s Bacon Fondue Fries

To go along with their new Gouda Bacon Cheeseburger Burger Wendy’s also released new fries. The Bacon Fondue Fries are fries with slices of back and their melted swiss cheese “fondue” on top.

As you can see the picture, there was a good amount of melted swiss cheese and huge slices of bacon on top. A major issue with these was hoping they would survive the ride from Wendy’s to home. Unfortunately they did not, by the time I got to sit down and eat them they were cold and the cheese was no longer melted. Of course I still wanted to give them a fair shot trying to image what they would taste like fresh at the store. Overall they were just way too salty. There was no contrast to the salty fries, salty cheese and salty bacon making these just a plate of saltiness goodness.

We are going to try them fresh sometime and will update you here when we do.

I was very disappointed with these and did not even finish them. I give them a poor 3.5/10
